March Break and Full-Day Summer Camps

The camps offered include an educational component as well as camp activities. Peel Montessori Summer Day Camp is a safe, fun-filled way to brighten the summer holidays . Children will enjoy doing a variety of activities in an environment where self-esteem, building friendships, and positive reinforcement are present and encouraged.

Program

The camp will include outdoor sports activities, music and dance, cooperative games, water play, nature walks, arts and crafts, contests, science experiments, and day trips when available. Some day trips may be scheduled at an added cost for admission tickets and transportation, if numbers warrant.

Who may attend?

Our program is offered to students attending our school and to family and friends from our community.

Times:    Camp begins each day at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm.

Extended Day:  Begins at 7:30am and ends at 6:00pm. Extended day during these times is offered at no extra cost.

Procedure:  Obtain Registration Forms from the school office early May.

Duration:   March Break – Two weeks

                          Summer Day Camp – Mid-June to Mid-August.

Before/After School Hours Program

Please obtain a registration form.

The before school program commences at 7:30 a.m. and the after school program commences at 3:30 p.m. for the elementary classes and 4:00 p.m. for the casa classes. If numbers warrant the after school program operates up to 6:00 p.m.

The before and after school times are chosen by you on the Student Registration Status form. The minimum fee is $25.00 per week for the before school program, and $35.00 per week for the after school study program. There will be no deductions for missed days/holidays. Parents will be required to sign students in and out each day. Students will only be released to individuals listed on the pick-up form unless a note from the parent is provided at the time of pick-up. Please note, phone messages cannot be accepted for safety reasons.

Students who are not registred in the Before/After School Care Program will be subject to an hourly fee and subject to the procedures of the program by signing in and out.
